EN: Part two of the 5th anniversary releases of Invasion Wreck Chords: the "Caution!"-DVD! Together with the AMBASSADOR21-Remix-"Sampler", this DVD is another name-dropping highlight more than worthy of the title "Industrial Video-Compilation". 77 minutes of extra-high-class industrial and breakcore featuring 16 tracks and of course AMBASSADOR21 (The Ballet Of Bullets), a previously unreleased piece by ASCHE (Neither...Nor) as well as live cuts including additional visual material by the Invasion-Crew, among those SONAR (Aval), SYNAPSCAPE (Tragic Figures), KLANGSTABIL with the incredible "You May Start", MIMETIC (Overload), AH CAMA-SOTZ (Deo Gratias), S.K.E.T. You May Start", MIMETIC (Overload), AH CAMA-SOTZ (Deo Gratias), S.K.E.T.

GOTHTRONIC (8.5/10)

The DVD Caution! released in celebration of the 5 year anniversary of the Invasion Wreck Chords label opens with video images of a trip with the subway, images from out of Minks in Belarus and various cities in Europe where Ambassador 21 and side-project Suicide Inside have performed, to the venue where many well known musicians from the noise and industrial scene passed by in front of the camera in an intro set on the music of ‘Delete the Elite’ by Ambassador 21 and Roger Rotor, originally on the Weight of Death album of Ambassador 21. The actual tracklist starts with images of Asche who performs a new track ‘Neither…No’ live, with Andreas energetically moving behind his equipment as we’re used from him. Next up Rasputeen with ‘Sexx’, with retro vintage images mixed with live images of Rasputeen, performing with masks over their heads.
Then images of Eric van Wonterghem and Dirk Ivens with their Sonar project playing ‘Aval’ from their Alien Overdrive album which is pleasantly mixed with images of big city life by night. Synapscape is next with alive rendition of ‘Tragic Figures’, originally from the latest split-album with Asche, Scenes From A Galton’s Walk. Images of an old western movie are mixed through the live images which has a comical effect. Next up is the splashing performance of ‘The Ballet of Bullets’ from Ambassador 21, a band that not only on records but also live is overwhelmingly brutal. The live images are mixed with images of an Elvis figure shooting around with agun, explosions and all kinds of heavy and crazy images.
With images of Klangstabil’s ‘You May Start’ shot at Elektroanschlag we come into more quiet waters. This song is on their ingenious "Taking Nothing Seriously" album and has a nice build-up in tension that works towards an intense climax. After that again more rhythm with Mimetic’s splendid hypnotising song ‘Overload’, with vocals from Phil Von and originally on the debut album Overrated. Back to a ritual percussive industrial-noise sound with ‘Deo Gratias’ by Ah Cama-Sotz. Then the rhythmic industrial of S.K.E.T in ‘Luna (Isolator 4)’, originally from their latest album Balkonur on Hands. Fragment King presents a mixture of doom metal guitar violence and noise that in all it’s chaos doesn’t deliver at least live.
Bong-Ra does deliver with the explosive guitar breakcore spectacle in ‘Suicide Speed Machine Girl’. Proyecto Mirage is next with an energetic performance of ‘You Know…’, originally on the release Gas the DJ. Nicely mixed are the images of Boot-Sector-Viruz who’s not respresented with a live set here on the Caution! DVD of the industrial breakcore track ‘Trigger’. Then we go on with the hypnotising song ‘Driller Killer’ of the Swiss techno-industrial project Roger Rotor that is live quite convincing. The DVD ends with Suicide Inside who leave a nice impression with ‘Angel’. This DVD with images shot on amongst other the Maschinenfest, Elektroanschlag and the Noxious Art Festival is fun to watch and recommended to every fan of music of labels such as Invasion Wreck Chords, Hands, Ant-Zen, Ad Noiseam or Pflichtkauf.
