EN: For their 5th anniversary, the belorussian AMBASSADOR21, simultaneously label owners of INVASION WRECK CHORDS, decided to do something not totally special, but enormously impressing: a remix CD (and the "Caution!"-DVD). Impressive because within the remixes, astonishingly, immense depth and perceivable distinctiveness has been added to the duo's already very dense and brutal hardcore electro noise-shredding. "Drunken, Crazy, with a Gun" totally kicks ass, the renditions by, among others, :WUMPSCUT:, MIMETIC, AH CAMA-SOTZ, THIS MORN' OMINA, P.A.L, HYPNOSKULL, S.K.E.T., CONTAGIOUS ORGASM, ASCHE, MONOLITH, etc. provide the for the most part recent AMBASSADOR21 tracks an immense amount of clarity, removed the typical nebulosity of the originals and turned them into true noise-jet engines. In accordance with the title of the CD, glands are churned in a homicidal way, this has not much to do with breakcore or electro - collapsed into extraordinary industrial rhythm breakcore theater from the outer space of death!

DE: Zum fuenften Geburststag haben sich die Weissrussen von AMBASSADOR21, zugleich Labelinhaber von Invasion Wreck Chords, etwas zwar nicht ganz Besonderes, aber dennoch enorm Imposantes einfallen lassen: eine Remix-CD (und die "Caution!"-DVD). Imposant deswegen, weil innerhalb der Remixe - erstaunlicherweise - dem ohnehin schon dichten und brutalen Hardcore Electro Noise-Geschredder des Duos noch immens an Tiefe und offenbarer Deutlichkeit hinzugewonnen werden kann. "Drunken, Crazy, With A Gun" haut maechtig ins Geblaese, die Bearbeitungen von unter anderem :WUMPSCUT:, MIMETIC, AH CAMA-SOTZ, THIS MORN' OMINA, P.A.L, HYPNOSKULL, S.K.E.T., CONTAGIOUS ORGASM, ASCHE, MONOLITH etc. verleichen den zumeist juengeren AMBASSADOR21-Tracks eine gewaltige Portion Klarheit, nahmen den Originalen die gewisse typische Verwaschenheit und verwandelten sie teils in astreine Noise-Duesen. Dem Plattentitel entsprechend, wird moerderisch die Druese gezirbelt, mit Breakcore oder Electro hat dies nur noch wenig zu tun - zerfallen im herausragenden Industrial Rhytm Breakcore Theater from outer space of death!

In Minsk knallt es wieder. Ob Breakbeats, Noise oder Voll-Druff-Techno, am besten wird es immer dann, wenn Natasha wie von Sinnen ihre russischen Tiraden uber die Sounds spuckt. Irgendwie glaubt man ihr sofort jedes Wort und hat das Gefuhl, dass da drau?en auf den Stra?en ein Krieg tobt. Verdammt, die haben recht.

SIDE-LINE (8/10)

Based largely on their last full-length “Weight of Death”, Ambassador 21 celebrate their 5th anniversary by releasing the noisy, aggressive and uncompromising “Drunken, Crazy, With a Gun” remix collection. On the hard adrenaline-fuelled side of things is the industrial punk noise of Bak XIII’s “Batman vs Elvis” remix and the addictive rhythms of Hypnoskull’s retro take on “Zensyou66”. Mimetic have clear intentions with their hyperactive experimental “Ballet of Bullets” drum ‘n’ bass remix. Sharing a vision are the furious unrelenting aggression of Iszoloscope’s “Legalize Death” rework and Suicide Inside’s version of “Katrina”. Sitting somewhere between them and Mimetic’s remixes are the distorted experimental rhythms of PAL’s “Unhappy Day” rework. In a more rhythmic and energetic mood are the deep grinding beats of Wumpscut’s “Light My Fire” remix and the manic energy and massive floor shaking basslines of Ah Cama-Sotz interpretation of “Smith and Wesson”. Monolith opts for a throbbing hypnotic and militaristic remix of “Light My Fire” while Tarmvred’s increasingly dense 8 minute remix of “A New Doctrine about Trinity II” is more experimental. A loud, aggressive collection of remixes with several notable contributions.

GOTHTRONIC (9/10)

This might be one of the very best industrial remix albums of 2007. It surely is one of the most diverse and explosive albums in the realms of industrial, breakcore, techno-noize that is currently released. This album from Ambassador 21 from Belarus offers exactly what the title implies: drunken, crazy, with a gun, and you better get out of the way, cause this industrial-punk-noise machine will have no mercy. Natasja and Alexey have had the tracks of their latest album Weight of Death remixed by a selection of respected artists from the industrial scene. Remixes by a.o. Bak XIII, Wumpscut, Mimetic, Ah Cama-Sotz, This Morn Omina, Iszoloscope, P.A.L, Hypnoskull, SKET, Tarmvred, Asche, Monolith and Contagious Orgasm,to which the individual styles of each band were merged with the industrial breakcore mayhem of Ambassador 21. Add the psychopathic aggressive vocals of this duo to it and you get an impression of what this sounds like. Fantastic! Some remixes are more experimental such as the remixes of Contagious Orgasm or This Morn Omina, others are towards rhythmic industrial such as P.A.L and Asche or insane heavy breakcore industrial with roaring guitars such as Iszoloscope, Hypnoskull and Tarmvred, and others strikingly dancefloor focussed such as Monolith, Wumpscut, Suicide Inside, SKET, Ah Cama-Sotz or BakXIII have done. Each track is a killer. You just have to hear it to believe it. This is mandatory for every industrial lover.

Deze CD komt uit naar aanleiding van hun 5 jarig bestaan. Het is Een zeer stevige remix cd met vooral nummers uit hun vorige album Weight of Death. Je kan deze cd een beetje indelen in 4 grote onderverdelingen. P.A.L, Asche en Mimetic zorgen voor de harde ritmische industrial. This Morn'Omina en Contagius Orgasm maken er iets experimenteel van. Bak XIII, Hypnoskull en Tamvred zorgen op hun manier voor breaking beats. Terwijl Wumpscut, Ah Cama Sotz, S.K.E.T. eerder(in industrial normen)voor de dansvloer zouden kunnen dienen. Mijn persoonlijke voorkeur gaat naar de Monolith remix die mss voor de Dj's het nr Disco Buddha en co waardig en stevig kan vervangen. Verder brengt Suicide Inside nog een leuke remix van een Proyecto Mirage nr Katrina. Dit is een prachtig cd'tje en betere remix cd. Gewoon de loeiharde stem van Natasha en dreunende sound van Ambassador21 bewerkt en eigen inzicht aan gegeven. Gek,Dronken en met vooral veel vuurwerk.

Back to their first love for remix album, Ambassador21 are now giving this treatment to their latest album, "Weight of Death" with this "Drunken, Crazy, With A Gun" (which incidentally is, as the album, a "real", pressed CD). Put in the hand of such acts as Tarmvred, Iszoloscope, :Wumpscut:, Suicide Inside, Mimetic, Ah-Cama Sotz, Asche, P.A.L and others, the tracks of this furious belarussian duo tend to become a bit more electronic, but also gain in production and sound quality. Forceful and energetic as always, Ambassador21 are on an onward path, and demonstrate it again, however drunk and crazy they might be.
